Hi Biscuit Breakers!
Now you’ve seen a little bit of what this blog will entail, I wanted to give you an insight into the writer behind Biscuit Breaks.
As you know, my name is Henna. It comes from the Indian plant which can be crushed into a paste called Mehndi, and this can be used to paint temporary tattoos on the body. Normally Henna is used for religious purposes, such as a wedding or in the Islamic calendar of Eid.
I am a Hindu, so when it comes to important dates in the Hindu calendar, such as Diwali, you’ll probably get an insight into what I do when it comes to celebrating.
I am currently studying English Literature, History and Law at my sixth-form college; hence the fascination of all things books and history.
“Getting to know you
The King and I
Putting it my way
But nicely
You are precisely
My cup of tea”
One of my favourite things (I’ve done it again by accident) is Musical Theatre. The aptly named title from ‘The King and I’ and accidently ‘My Favourite Things’ from ‘The Sound of Music’ kind of proves my point.
Apologies if you find some random musical theatre quote, or Harry Potter quote scattered within my work. It’s not intentional.
One of the reasons for starting this blog was due to my love of all things Media. I wish to pursue a career in the field, and I want to showcase my style to you all.
Well, I hope I have given you an insight to a little bit more about myself, and I hope you continue to enjoy reading my posts!
